Hi, I have had most LR products except a Range Rover. I have about 5k to spend on a toy. I want petrol but besides that I really have no idea what to go for or what to look for. I know that this is a big ask but any info to get me going would be appreciated.
Thanks guys & girls

you wont get a L322 for that sort of money, but i suppose you could get a mint P38, with a few £k spare for repairs

When you say a toy, do you mean to go and play in and get muddy, or literally a toy /hobby?!

Hi briskly,
I got a mint 1999 hse for sale, icom LPG unit fitted, full mot, in champagne colour full colour coded bumpers and grill.

Or of course with that money you could always buy a proper one - 'Classics' are the original & best, though lacking in 'toys' (esp. pre '90) there's lots less to go wrong, but do look everywhere for the tin-worm. Doors & wings are alloy but the whole structure (behind them) is steel as is the bonnet plus both top & bottom tailgates.

Go and play in the mud, but it has to be street legal for the winter months. Thought about a RR as I have never had a Rangey. Have had S111, 90, 110, Disco and FL, so only missing out on this.

Personally i'd go with a P38 DHSE for around £ 3.5k get some mud tyres for the 16" or 18" wheels and away you go ;)

You could pay £5k for an L322 and then you could spend another £5k making it work and then another £5k putting it right after taking it off road, possibly an exaggeration but if you want a range then it's the P38 but really a disco or 90 offender will be much more fun even if you have already had one :)
