i paid £600 last week had to put a bow2 motor and albright as the warn motor give up and its still not right![]()
If you want a cheapy, then the best one from what I have heard are Warrior / Champion winches. If you have the little extra though I would go for a superwinch. But obviously the best will always be Warn, but you do pay the warn price :|
An 8274 would be just the job but I can't spend £1500 on it, also I don't know anything about repairing winches so didn't want to buy a used one incase I buy crap. I'll keep looking. Ta for advice. Am I correct in assuming most winches are made in china and are simply rebranded for each retailer?

i dont know, i had 3 pulls out of it on the 4th it didnt want to pullit would pull in a pules action
going to pull it to bits this week see if i can see any problems
If you want a good new winch then TDS Goodwinch is what i would go for
