yeah I plan to maintain the sucker myself. spoke with the dealer, says it has full service history. Ill go see it sunday and see whats what. I realised its the same V8 from the BMW m5 and x5. So I assume the same issues apply.
The cars about 3k. I'll check how much a new box is.

Only down side, it’s on springs.
Keep looking loads around and from what I have just seen £3k is not cheap these days for this car.
Trick is to not rush in loads out there, good luck in your search

Again it’s the luxury of the RR ride. if the system is maintained and understood it’s great.

Sorry but that one has a bit of bling on it too, not my taste but reversible as is the spring conversion, for less than the gearbox for sure.
As I said look around don’t rush in. Also consider the difference between private seller and dealer and price mark up.
I only looked cos you said cheap and I wasn’t up on prices.
