Well at Kursk the german tanks were out 3-1 or something like that

Add to that the fact that they were also in unknown territory and that the Russians especially with Stalin were never going back down, Leningrad also helped as they were fighting for the city named after one of the greatest leaders Russia had seen
wernt they on equal terms at kursk ? and the sausage eaters introduced the panthers and elefants as well ?

Yeh if it weren't for Adolf the Germans would have won !

Interestingly his downfall vindicated the emerging science of criminal profiling in the US - they (a small think tank of psychiatric MD's) predicted exactly what he would do when the music stopped and he found himself without a chair.

i saw that was interesting ,

greatest russian leaders ?leningrad was a mistake and against blitzkrieg ideals

Lenin did set up communism though, wasn't a great idea in practice for the serfs but for the others it worked and without the amount of fear and power he and his predecessors had they might not have had the power to build such a vast army and defeat the Germans

This really is all "if's buts and maybe's" though

the russian t38's were unstoppable and churned out en masse.
they had almost all parts interchangeable from other tanks to tractors in russia.
the german tanks was a lot more involved in repairing them

I may be thinking of a different one but was sure it was somewhere up in that region, know it was the biggest of the war though

They were close, that's why we bombed Telemark where they were making Deuterium for the Nazi A bombs.

Might have been a bit further along though had they had him, once paired with the rest of the Manhattan project guys the **** hit the fan for the Japs thanks to Pearl Harbour

id heard they were still a long way off a useable device ,though obviously seen as a threat at the time

They probably were, but nip in the bud and all that.

And does anyone else think the word "Deuterium" sounds delicious. Fook it I'm doing to say it aloud a few times.
