Suppose an Iowa kinda falls into the same class as an AC-130 Reaper or Spooky though, with artillery that size its a specific job, land huge explosive shells and do serious damage if you can get them to hit
 
Best 'drone noise' I've ever heard was the German Army 2A4 and 2A5 tanks.

I've been overtaken by a convoy of them, running on metal tracks on asphalt. I was towing a heavy trailer with a M-Benz Sprinter up a long hill at about 45 -50 mph and they just came up behind and pulled out as one and left me behind. What a power - and what a smell - what a fuel consumption - maybe the MAFs needed checking.

Scary - with Deutsches Afrika Korps insignia too.

Has anybody come across a Freelander model Kit as I have always fancied making one.
Some interesting Dioramas with an AA truck maybe.

Never seen a FL kit, mostly all you see is Defenders and Series in scale. Still could be interesting :).
 
Right, to bring things back to the original topic (that was a fun digression though) MAW sent me out another controller this morning. Because it isn't a simple failure,rather it failed while being used in an untested way, I had to pay for it but he knocked 20% off for me. When DC get back from their xmas holiday (ozzies tend to take longer off as it's nice there this time of year) then we'll get in touch and see if I can get a refund on the pump and controller. But I do accept that it was being used in a way that isn't expected so I won't pout if they say they can't refund me. I just want it to work at this point.

I wud have thort it should be capable of being driven from their own controller?

I don't know mate, I will have to check the instructions. I'm pretty sure they will give me a refund and a replacement EBP - they don't ask many questions from what I've read. It's just a **** time of year for this to happen.

I'm not employed in the regular sense so I fooking hate all this bank holiday BS, the world stops and I can't get owt done! S'alright for those on 9 to 5!
