Hi All,

Just searching around on ebay for a full set of bulb upgrades. Anybody know what the 'xenon' style replacements are like? Had some years ago and they blew after a few weeks and looked ****. There are loads of different ones from different suppliers and I presume you get what you pay for? Any advice appreciated.

take a look at the gear in halfruads i got a set for the 110 well impressed ;)
and if they blow only gotta pop up the road :D

I looked at them in Halfords & they looked pretty good. Did you get that 'modern' white look. Saw a p38 the other night with a full set of white-style lights, including numberplates etc and it looked really good.

just got the extreme brilliance , says "90% brighter" think thats a bit exaggerated tbh would say 40/50% been in the fender since december (crimbo pressi from no.1 son) faultless so far :D

Agreeing with Buckshot on this one (always a safe thing to do). I have been playing around with bulbs in my Rangie. Fitted full Zenons, with all the ignitors and extra resistors to fool the bulb failure, but had weird issues like airbag warnings whenever I turned on or flicked up to full beam. Then fitted the Halfords plus 90s and was quite impressed, good light but not quite the harsh white of the Zenons. Just now I've got some 100 watt bulbs in but haven't noticed more light on the road than the Halfords. I'll probably be going back to the Halford ones.

Mind you the led side lights I fitted are magic, I like them.

OOOOH! get her!!!

What I've found as I get older is that my night sight is definitely not as good as it was. I've been to the opticians but, like so many things, it's just age and there's not much that they can do. Therefore I want the best light that I can get. I started by fitting an A bar with the intention of fitting big spot lights but I didn't like the look of it and it wouldn't have helped with everyday road driving anyway so I've been playing with headlights bulbs ever since.

Ring Xenon max is what I use, make a huge difference 100% brighter

Same idea as the Philips ultra bright ones but cheaper
