someone i know of had a job delivering into landrover at solihull last week. basically it involves collecting landy parts in a truck, delivering them trackside to landrovers production line.
here is the truck
this was the landrover parts
loaded up in the truck like this....
usually 12 dashboards at a time.
some more pics below of the dashboards. btw each one is worth £5k.
the green cloth 'tubes' you can see in the last 2 pics contain the whole wiring loom for the vehicles.
i just thought this might interest some folks on whats involved actually building a brand new landy. note the correct use of the word "truck"
