My britpart clutch master cylinder, slave and rod all seem to be working, after 500 miles and two off road days on them!

This is all very interesting!
Hadn't heard the ****part play on words until I joined this forum.
Despite the slatings, there's loads of guys still buying the gear. Are we addicted to taking a chance on cheap?

depends what you buy really
anything with moving parts is a bad idea same as anything that needs to be an accurate fitment

im happy to buy britpart mudflaps as they don't fall into either catorgory

Two De-cat pipes have split at the flexi on my Dads Disco now within only a few thousand miles and larger intercooler has split at the weld on one side.

The De-cat on my Defender is perfect though but it's a different type of flexi and doesn't have a center boxes weight on it either.

I have fitted loads of Britpart stuff from wheel bearings, polybush set, ball joints etc.
I have recently completed a 2 week, 7000 kilometre trip from France down to Morocco and back. We spent several days going through the Sahara, over rocky ground and some sand dunes. Everything held together and after an oil change and some new tyres its ready to go again. I think with Britparts it depends what you are after. Some stuff is rubbish like their exhaust system and temperature senders, but other gear seem fine.

I have a full service kit for a 300tdi that is still good after 3 years (sits in back bedroom waiting for a donor disco)
