I have had a full set of Discovery brake discs and callipers that are still going strong after 12 months.

I fitted a Britpart water pump to my old 94 Disco 1 200tdi and it has done 20k trouble free.

I have had rubbish parts, memorably swivel seals that didn't fit well and leaked but that's not what this thread is about.

There must be many parts from Britpart that are cheap and reliable, it's just knowing which they are.:)

I have a britpart supergaz steering damper that is now 5 years old and still ok.

In true britpart style, it didn't fit until I re-crimped the inner metal bush but it has been fine since.

Fuel filters and headlight units, everything else was rubbish.

It really does say something about a brands reliability and reputation when you buy online and they have to repackage to lose the blue box of doom

Snap!

Also, the winch bumper is still there, even if I did have to elongate the holes to get it to fit and re-paint it after 6 months.

britpart lift kit "celluler dynamic" been on over 2 years and still good as new..britpart lift pump on over a year with no problem

I had to crimp the bush on the one I bought for my previous 110 too.

Seems like they are crimped to the same incorrect setting.

One thing though. Afaik, britpart switches suppliers for non genuine/oem every now and again. So maybe that indian made britpart prop was great in 2010, but now they use a malaysian firm and there is no way of knowing, as it isn't stamped.

Britpart temperature sensor for my N/A.....fitted and worked straight out the box. Still going after 3 months....wonder if it will make it to a year.

no they dont ,genuine and oe are allways that as are branded parts ,though you are right with the pattern parts some will be made in varying factories over time

i got a britpart handbrake actuator that lasted a good 6 months!

Mainly because i have not fitted it yet and its sat on the shelf in garage! but credit where its due, its sat there quite happy and hasn't gave up yet! money well spent i say

Happy to buy ****part for stuff like panel/trim clips, light plugs, front grille plastics, generally inanimate parts etc. The only moving parts I've so far fitted are a pair of HD steering arms including track rod ends. 3 months so far and no issues. The next parts to go on will be a set of sillycunt intercooler hoses.

The Britpart pedal rubbers I fitted 9 months ago are still in place and "working" within expected parameters.
