I'm not upset.....if it'll stop Pikey trying to hump my leg I'm all for it

he said that he wasn't actually interested in you like that. He said summit about not being able to reach the curtains so needing summit else to wipe himself on?:confused::confused:

If its not possible or doable or safe then not to worry..just wondering

Firstly I want to do it..I just wanted someone to talk me through it.

The bottom of the door had a hole which I painted with anti rust stuff and it had gaffer tape to cover it. Anyway rust has now eaten through and it needs a patch and as I was going to be replacing the door card so I can fit my new door lock it seemed like a good idea to do it then

you mean you want to learn to weld???

While theres still door left I'd think chopping out the rotting part and painting it might be a good option! Just to stem the rot if it looks like its spreading fast

Rivet in a strengthener plate over the top and leave it til you can weld it up ;)

Good idea have a good bit of pratice on some scrap first. You can always come and have a play with Pikeys kit.

Not sure how big a genny would be needed to run one at the show......I'll PM Fanny for the spec on his

You need double the KVa on a genny to a welder as the current draw is harsh, I looked into this. So if welder draws 6KVa you need 12 minimum

The only way you'll run one at the show is by using a dedicated engine welder but then that'll be stick unless you fancy paying 10k upwards for a Miller MIG/TIG/Stick genny

Yep..if someone can talk me through it its only a small hole

S,why do that, you will never learn to weld like that, have you got your own welder, how often will you use it.just get someone to do it for you.BB said he will do it for you.it is harder than you think welding correctly you know.
