Hi
Just got back and there's smoke coming from behind the drivers front wheel I'm guessing it's going to be brakes binding on?
My question is is it going to be replacing caliper and pad and discs or is there another gremlin hiding that I need to look for.
Thanks

If the brakes are hot enough to smoke, there won't be any guessing! You should feel significant heat, possibly a glowing disc too. You'll also feel the steering pull to the left

Knowing if it's an FL1 or FL2 would help, as the calipers used are of different designs, each with their own set of unique issues.

I'm sorry I don't know its a 2005 1.8 if that helps any
Only just got it and still getting to grips with it

It's a Freelander 1 facelift then. ;)

It could be the slides are sticking, which is common.
It could also be the calipers themselves, which thankfully are cheap and plentiful.
