Got new problems now to contend with all new brakes been bled as per rave but have noticed when pushing pedal just down a small bit I hear a clicking weather ignition is on or off the noise is coming from down by the pedal area 1999 thor

my pedal has 2 switches, one for the brake lights and one for cruise with electrical and vacuum connections

I’ve one of the switches were faulty would the nanocom not throw a fault up at least put you in the right direction

my cruise one is broke and just dangles freely so the cruise ecu thinks the pedal is always pressed, doesnt cause any errors though but cruise wont work.
if i tape the switch up then everything cruise works perfectly and even switches off when I apply the brake so i'm not really sure what function it provides

Will try and narrow it down a bit tomorrow to wet and cold outside at the moment but it wasn’t making any noise before the bleeding process

What makes ypi think there is a fault? The switch is double throw as others have said

Don't recall mine making a noise. It must be loud to hear it in a diesel. I guess you could try the adjustment procedure.

Unless you remove the switch and try it with your fingers, then while your in there you can look at the pedal mechanism with a torch and look for faults. ;)

Just had a look the noise is right up under the pedal itself when it dries out a bit I will investigate I had it apart a few years ago because of a squeaking is the brake switch up under there somewhere then I was just curious as to why it’s happening now and not before the brake bleed
