I will take a look at that pdf later, have just finished up learning the complete ins and outs of the ace system.
So, back at it now, looking at the master cylinder and the abs pump deciding what to replace first..
Now that I've jumped in the pedal is pretty sloppy even with no weight on and not moving, a bit lower than I'd like. Which is pointing towards cylinder for me..?
I'd have to doubt the flexis causing this much expanding without blowing a line. And the tank is still as full as I left it. Only code thrown is historical and pump failure 3 (pump sticks)

Well changed the cylinder and bled it again. Works flawlessly with no trailer. I only had a 2 ton digger to hand so had about 2.8t loaded. And felt fine to me. Abs worked fine and the pedal didn't make it all the way down. Can't go exactly on that though as the 3.5 probably makes a difference. Will try it when I can.

I don't think that extra weight would make any difference it it's not showing any problems with 2.8t. TBH I hadn't read the whole thread and didn't realise you'd just changed the master cylinder - anything you've just altered in any way is always going to be the most likely suspect.
