Where would the brake light switch be located on a freelander 1? (56plate)

Got recommended this https://www.lrdirect.com/LR032956-Switch-Stop-Light/ to clear traction control and Hill descent control warning lights but can not see/locate under dash.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's at the top of the brake pedal.
Use a torch to look up into the footwell, you'll see it with the wires going to it. Unplug the wires then twist to release the switch.

That's a Freelander 2 brake switch, unless I'm mistaken.
For a Freelander 1, you want:

If it is the upgraded version like @Madmustang suggests. You'll need an extra harness to convert it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the connector harness is basically to connect the two different plugs up? The one I've bought seems to have the correct harness connector to plug and play?

I believe that's all it does. Don't think it changes any pin positions.
Plug it in and see. If your brake lights work, it should be ok.
