Hi All

I'm experiencing fairly violent judder through the steering column when under braking. A few months ago all discs were replaced with vented one together with green hard pads. Everthing has been OK until recently when the juddering suddenly started. Any help and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Was the hubs all cleaned up and the discs seated properly? Were they good quality parts or pattern? Have you checked the wheel bearings?
Just a few suggestions

Many thanks landy10 for your quick reply to my post. All hubs were cleaned and seated properly. The discs are Rossini grooved and ventilated which are a very good quality. The wheel bearings were not checked at the time but the car passed it's MOT 2 days ago which I would have thought would have shown any defects in bearings ,brakes, steering etc.

Only thing to do then is get yourself a run out gauge and check the disc's its not unknown to get a bad disc and if they got a bit hot wi the hard pads then you may have a warped one
