Hi everyone,

I've got a disco 1 300tdi with a +3'' lift. I've added +5 shocks on the rear along with an x-deflex anti roll bar and an adjustable A-frame ball joint. Because of all this i'm worrying that the brake hoses i put on with the three inch lift might not be up to the job?
i don't fancy testing it out off road because I like my brakes to work and don't like spending money fixing something I could have prevented.

The question is;

Can anyone think of a reason why I couldn't just link up a second set of braided hoses to the ones already on it with a short length of brake pipe, olives and compression fittings?:)

Cheers, will give Llama 4x4 a call and get some made up. Don't think ill need a meter long but a few more inches will give me a bit more confidence in the setup.

The rear axle only has one flexible hose mounted in the center of the axle.

Therefore even with the +5 shocks at either end of the axle it all pivots around the the A frame ball joint so your existing extended hose on the rear should be fine.

If you put +5 shocks on the front you may need longer hoses there though

Got 1 for the back, and 2 to replace the copper at the front. . Running down the radius arms and jave a join half way ish... 101quid
