Help!

I'm using a one man kit and I'm trying to replace the brake fluid at the moment but when I undo the bleed valve (rear left) and pump the break pedal the fluid is leaking from between the valve and where it joins the wheel. I've tried undoing the valve just enough so the fluid can escape but it still leaks from where it joins the wheel rather then escaping into the tube from the one man kit.

Is the nut on the bleed valve supposed to turn independently to the tube? As at the moment they are both turning together.

Regards

It sounds like the nipple is blocked up and the fluid is taking the path of least resistance HTSH:)

With Defenders and Discos you don't really need a kit at all - just crack the nipple open and let gravity do the rest. A bit messy though.

And to bleed the clutch you just jump on the pedal about 20 times - try it!
