Finally bought one (well deposit paid and barring a disasterous misdescription from the supplier - which I don't anticipate - should collect it tomorrow Friday 12 April):
2007 registered/ terrain response version 67k miles, facelift.. silver, 2 reg'd keepers, full LR SH... looks very very nice, nice spec and confidently described as an 'A Car' which should equate to my immaculate and not a lemon... hopefully.
Getting 12 month LR warranty, serviced by supplier before we get it and 4 brand new tyres by the supplier.
Am due to collect tomorrow morning after a 5 hour, one way ticket , train journey...
Apart from some dealer taken photographs, I haven't even seen it or the paperwork yet and have gone off the main dealer appraisal as to how immaculate unmarked and perfect this car is inside and out...
The appraisals have been given by the sales staff and the Dealer Principal who has inspected it himself before I committed to buying... and they're buying the tax/ putting a private plate on it today
I have got the formulaic checklist produced by a forum member called Matthew... but am not so sure if I should get my nickers in a twist about every aspect of that checklist... because if buying from a main dealer (their pre delivery inspections etc) and with a 12 month warranty, surely I'm covered one way or another...
Any tips??? Nobody in Cardiff who could pop in today and give it the once over suppose/ Ha???
