Hi there all. Mew menber from Salisbury area. I just bought a TD5 90XS with loads of issues so i'll be a regular on here i'm afraid. This is my first Defender, my other passion is air cood VW's. Very different!

over fueling, no radio, nothing works A/C compressor and pipes missing, dents front and rear to name a few.................. I love it!

How do you know ita over fueling?

Leave the A/C till last, its not great even when it works! Haha

Well it’s ok but sometimes it goes gutless and belches black smoke. Usually delaminated hose apparently so I’ve got a set of turbo hoses coming as a first hit.
Yes air con can wait. Top of the list is stop the alarm going off 20 mins after setting it
Check the power to both heated seats and screens
Find a radio that fits the oversized hole in the dash. ‍
On the plus side it passed its mot yesterday with no advisories
Not complaining... I like a challenge!

Very top of your list should be beefing up defenders crappy security, consider a skytag or similar. It's hard to fix the issues after someone has robbed it off your drive.
