Ok I'm going to look at a disco 2 on Tuesday that's for sale and they say the bottom crank pulley knocks is this a huge problem or easy to fix ? Thanks

Done this on my td5 90 part is pricey and you will need a huge #### off torque wrench , but it's not a difficult job.

Just make SURE that is the only problem. A worn crank pulley damper can sound like worn big end bearings, so be careful.

The best way to be sure is to remove the viscous fan to give access, remove the serpentine belt then get a firm grip on the crankshaft pulley and try to rock it. If it's gone, you should get the knocking noise.

Good luck,

Dave
