hello, I have a 2010 Vogue 3.6 TDV8, and if I go over 75mph for more than 5 minutes all alerts come on the dash, and no acceleration at all, if I turn the engine off and then back on it clears until I go around 75mph again, no issues if I keep it under 70mph. The two intercooler pipes have been changed and the garage yesterday said that they had cleaned the sensor, thought straight away the same issue, any ideas please only had for a week

I guess it’s trying to tell you the speed limit is 70mph:)

Is it a Land Rover stealer?
If not then ask them to get it diagnosed by LR.
Oh and pick a loan car off their forecourt;)

Good luck

Well I had tried changing a boost sensor, rear boost pipe etc and still the issue, so then thought about a remap, just found out that it had already been remapped, so the remap is taken off and it had shut the egr valves off, fault gone, so they then put a new remap on with the egr valves still set to work, now unbelievable power and no issues, hope this helps for anyone else

Thanks for coming back with the fix:)

just goes to show remapping is not alway a good thing.

glad your sorted now:)

Oh not too sure will let you know, it looks like it was mapped to just remove the egr valves, now it’s done correctly it’s upped the bhp by 50bhp to 318, power increase is unbelievable next is to see if the mpg is going to increase, have to change the indicator stalk tomorrow so that I can get the trip to work lol

Sorry I really don't understand why reinstalling the egr would improve it.
Was it a Bell remap?

he didn’t say the EGR was reinstated in the new map, just that it now works with a good “map” in it.

I think a lot of peeps think a new map is a magic wand to more.

It’s not.....:D

there is so many maps now a days that reference each other, getting it right is not easy.

I know. I ask peeps what they want the map to do. Paul of td5 fame taught us all a torque based reasonable approach. I'd never just copy a map.
And increasing the top speed is just plain silly, especially here where the absolute legal top speed is 90 km

Yes the egr valves have been restored, and it looks like the old map only disabled them, don’t know who did it previously as only had the car a short while, though now the egr valves are back working and extra torque and Bhp it’s not like the oap car that would not go over 70mph or recently 67mph, just hope this continues to do the job

Well it didn’t last long, broke down after a woosh noise and been at the specialists for over a week, changed egr valves still won’t start any ideas please
