Looking to modify my range - anyone done this and used any north east based company? How much did you spend and how much did it affect insurance premium by?

We bought my gran a new three piece suite...For about 3 years afterwards she kept the fookin cellophane wrappers on the seat cushions. Yes, she said it 'kept it in good condition' ...But it looked ****e!
We'd bought it for her to enjoy. So I couldn't see the point, and thought it a little sad really.
I feel much the same about cars

....got the wife vinyl wrapped...just make sure you get the creases out

Did you have her transparently wrapped (just to preserve her stunning good looks...;)...if so picture proof required) or in the horny body/face image of your minds ideal dream/fantasy woman......

Can't knock a drug-dealer looking car :D lol each to their own -_-

:hysterically_laughiNow Thats Funny.......

I own a Range Rover....not to look like some 'Pimp Daddy' ****, I have one because I love the outdoors, My girlfriend is an award winning photographer and the RR gets us to places we need to go, I do a lot of shooting and it carries to guns and dogs, we both do a lot of camping and adventure breaks.....

Yes I could get a Defender/Disco or anyother 4x4 to do the job, but I prefer to come away from a shoot/holiday/photography assignment in relative comfort....

People who buy them to look like the Local 'Gangsta' have ZERO appreciation for the marque....have ZERO Clue as to the Land Rover heritage, have ZERO idea about what makes the Range Rover a classless vehicle and quite frankly it ticks me off.....

These are the kind of people who give us GENUINE Range Rover owners, who have their cars for a reason, a very bad name....

A while ago I was thinking of writing to Land Rover and asking them to only sell their Range Rover to people who deserve it....who will respect the Land Rover name, who can appreciate the style and mechanics in the Range Rover, and can answer a short questionaire on the history of Range Rovers...to prove themselves to be respectful to the marque....and not drive around with Drum n Bass banging out, in a badly blinged up Rangie, looking like a complete prick.....

Just my opinion....

We used a vinyl-wrapped Range Rover Supercharged V8 recently for filming the "Viva Valencia" road trip in aid of Riders for Health.

This was the Range Rover we used as a camera car, with my brother (who was cameraman for the project) hanging out the boot filming it. It is actually a black Range Rover underneath, vinyl wrapped with the graphics below:

If you're interested, here is the trailer we produced from the filming (shameless plug alert!): Sorted Media Productions Ltd. | Television | Corporate Videos | Short Films | Wedding Videography | Website Design

So vinyl wrapping a car has its place and uses...but I wouldn't to it to my own car ;)

Car is for sale here: http://www.fynnbrookcars.co.uk/showroom/cars/item/12 and they also supply the vehicle wrapping service: http://www.fynnbrookcars.co.uk/vehicle-wrap

In the right context (Like yours Mike) I agree it has its place....

But to create a 'Drug Dealer' 'Gangsta' car to impress yer sad-arse mates who think they are 'bad-ass' in there Crap pimped Range Rover.....thats where it all falls apart.

LOL I actually want to get a vinyl wrap not to stand out, but because im not too keen on the original grey colour - would much rather have black :D and it'll also help the original paintwork from chips etc. As for the bodykit I don't see anything wrong with overfinch/hawke.......
