Hi all,
My beloved 300 TDi has started to fall to bits in just under the last 12 months.
I require help finding the best place to find resto panels to keep her on the road. I cant.....really cant contemplate scrapping her.
I need things such as:
C post repair panels just under the latch post
The rear arch panels that go under the rear doors and mate up to the C post under the door latch post. (both sides).
Top rear valance just as you climb into the boot/rear has rotted very badly and needs a full panel and not just patching.
I need to repair about 3 ft of chassis both sides level with the front seats. Both sides have rotted though along the bottom edge of the chassis.
Both rear mud flap hangers are starting to break down.
The rear exhaust bracket that comes off the chassis and holds the back box up has completely rusted and broken.
Has any one got a good source of panels.
The welding side is not a problem and can be taken care of.......the best place for bits , I hope will come from this forum.

Thanks James, I will call them tomorrow and see what they have.

Updat: had the old girl on the ramps and the corrosion is terminal, far more than I first thought so its going to have to be a TDV6 to replace her...don't want to but I need this type of vehicle for our business.

You can claw back some cash by selling all the mechanicals, they are worth more when broken than as a whole

Thanks for the advice, I will be trading it in against the TDV6. I wont t get much for her but I will be driving over 262 miles to pick the TDV6 up and leave the 300. I've already got a full tank of fuel that needs using so I recon i've got the equivalent of about £500 for her taking all things into consideration. Not much I know but time to me is more important than getting every penny I can for her by stripping ( the 300 and not me.lol)......and to be honest I'm a bit attached to her so it would be like chopping up a family member. I need it gone, I've got a lot of good memories built around that 300 so ........out of sight and out of mind .
