Bit like the old Toyota v land rover joke, toyota employee sticks a cat into a toyota, land rover employee asks whats hes doing, toyota man explains its to test how air tight the cars are and if the cat is dead in the morning the car is prefect, so land rover guy goes home and decides to try it, in the morning the cat has gone!

My truck has always been infested with spiders, I saw the thing about false widow spiders on the news. Te ones in my cab looked like the same so got an industrial bug bomb (good for 8000m cubed or something)

Say it on middle seat, lit it and shut the door, thankfully has no headlining at the time as the flames were quite large.

Went to check on the morning and there was a big fat spider above the seat, seemed to be quite happy and unaffected.

Just accepted them as part of the land rover now.

Loads in mine too, when I put the heater on for the first time in months loads came out! I called one of them big Jeff :) he's been in there couple of months now!

I carefully eject them regularly, but there is a spider production line somewhere!
Have loads living in the roof rack voids too so took them all on a 1600 mile drive from Bilboa to Bayul-de-mer then back up across the Pyrenees.
Reckon I lost some gained others that even survived the long ferry trip, and loved the extra flies they caught down south, yet the biggest bugger inside the van never caught one single mozzi allowing them to bite me to f** on the last 2 days!! unless he was full after eating them all for the previous 2 weeks perhaps :)

I decided today to cut up some old plywood and make up some rear tub liners for the 90. Marked it all out and started to cut with the circular saw. I was about 18 inches along my 1st cut when out of the dust extractor of the saw crawled this spider the size of a small tarrantula with a big fat brown body. Normally i dont mind spiders but this give me the fright of my life. I very nearly let go of the saw but it became a case of which will do more harm so i stuck with the spider and held on rather than let go and see were the blade ended up. Anyways, after checking the saw, i found a few dismembered arachnid type legs and havent seen the big guy since.
