Whereabouts roughly do you live? Put it in User CP ..

Someone might have a look for you and point out a few things.

A good idea is to get and read the Handbook and service book. This should show most standard service operations, oil filler, and how to check levels for instance and a few other things you can do relatively easily to help keep it going.

Read the book, checked all the fuses, disconnected the battery and I have a diagnostic tool which cost me £300 which i have used and told me no faults. The problem is the Transmission and there are no helps from the manual for this.

Sorry to say but maybe you should buy an easier car, Range Rovers are mostly for enthusiasts or thick wallets and depending on the RR as only transport is a bit like roulette

it was serviced about 6 months ago

should of had a service on transmission at 50k and is due again. If it was never done it is well fooked up. Did you get service record with it? How often do you change oil and filter on the engine?

Sod 50k !

I change mine every year or every 12k
