Whereabouts roughly do you live? Put it in User CP .. ;) Someone might have a look for you and point out a few things.

A good idea is to get and read the Handbook and service book. This should show most standard service operations, oil filler, and how to check levels for instance and a few other things you can do relatively easily to help keep it going.

Look I don't know what half these things mean....I joined this website for help, you have to realise that everyone isn't as up to speed as you are on the vehicle. I'm trying really hard to mend my car - I can't afford to send it to a dealer - I just want it to run so I can pick my kids up from school. Can someone please speak blonde to me........

Ok............ it has a bad oweeeeeee and needs a transplant, worst case

Read the book, checked all the fuses, disconnected the battery and I have a diagnostic tool which cost me £300 which i have used and told me no faults. The problem is the Transmission and there are no helps from the manual for this.

should of had a service on transmission at 50k and is due again. If it was never done it is well fooked up. Did you get service record with it? How often do you change oil and filter on the engine?
