Fair point! Looking back he made it out of trunking.I thought it was plastic so probably silicone and/or just meted plastic?
Yes you are correct it could be made to look like something from Kahn design but it was a solution to a misting problem and me not able to reach the passenger window to wipe it when misted up.Bit more practice on the welding, and a bit more time with a grinder before painting, you could make that look fine!

The trunking is UPVC and it is glued together dipped in a pot of paint - one demister that works.
you need to get yer'sen one of these.
