Bought myself a Nanocom for my new P38 Motronic Rangie.
Bloody-hell they are expensive aren't they?
But at least I will be able to set some of the options the way I want them.

I guess I should add myself to the MAP when I get it.

How much are the extra modules once you have the base unit then Grrrrrr? @grrrrr
Ooops.... don't answer that...the prices are on their web-site further down the list.

Correct. Used to be about £50 a pop. L322 ones take the mick a bit ...

Amazed to get a Voice message translation of an SMS on my home phone to say DHL want £16 import duties paid.
Both UK and Cyprus are in the EU currently. what import duties?
Sounds more like a frigging ransom demand.
But then it could be for something else I have ordered I suppose.

Isn't Cyprus split into 2? The Greek part will be EU but the Turkish part will be outside the EU. I'd go back to them and say it is part of the greek part so no duties.

Panic over...... :D
Turns out it was another DHL delivery from China that required import duties to be paid.
The Nanocom will be here very soon from Cyprus with no ransom demands (had an e-mail exchange with the lovely admin ladies at BBS). Happy Days.

Good result then, never had to pay duty from china always seems to be down as a sample whatever the value, although not sure what the rules are. Martyn

There's a load of shenanigans going on with China. Goods sold as a penny or close but with ever varying postage. Something to do with Blair's "trade deal" along with HS2, I'll wager. They seem to pretty much turn a blind eye unless the value or weight crosses some unknown threshold.

Yea it comes from Paphos its on the Greek side, I was going to go there last week (I was on the Turkish side) but I cant drive across the border in a hire car, was going to see some other guy who sells parts for series as well, but it didn't happen.... who want to see my holiday photos and videos??

I went to Limassol this year but stopped off at paphos on a land Rover tour to pick up! To hot in a no aircon defender at 38c with 7 others! Don't do it trust me. I guessed they were ex forces 110s 300tdis. Longed for my range tbh air con full bore. Cyprus is chackablock full of Russians atm.

Yeah, that whole region is a bit twitchy at the moment. It is Russia's gateway to the oil fields so they're keeping a high profile.
