Seen this a few times in my area, today i stopped to take some pics and see if any of you lot can identify the model, i assume it's a Series, but which one?

I'm searching the owner atm as it's basically been left to rot on the spot but would make a great project for the future, i believe it's something to do with the newish business which took over the land from the previous horticultural centre or was left behind...

As for where it's situated, right on the road outside the premises.

tiz a s3 by the looks of it and the back of the cab dont look standard ! only good fer bits i'd say

Back of the cab is a piece of sterling board :D

It's got an engine in it as well, but possibly only good for spares, but i hate to see it sat there... as for the amount of holes in it, i think trailering it away rather than towing as it's likely to fall apart lol.

Looks more like a series 2 with a series 3 front end to me.
Pretty much beyond redemption methinks.

tis a series 3 swb (s3 bulkhead and front end) with a custom made king cab

and i would think its best part ****ed

I'll keep ya posted Series, I'm gonna investigate a bit more this week, it's been there for a year or so, I'm guessing it's not going anywhere soon.

The panels don't look in too bad a shape ( except the N/S front ) so it might be worth something for them alone. If you notice some of the light covers have been removed, fuel cap, so i guess peeps have been stopping now and then and taking bits n bobs off her ;)

could pop down one weekend and fill up me car with landy bits :D

About 150 quid at the scrappers is what it's worth. Don't get carried away with the thought that body parts are worth anything they mostly aren't, especially when they're knackered. Plus it'll be hassle to move as the brakes are most likely stuck etc.

Dropped in today, but the owner was away, left a number for him, will drop back later this week if no call.

Spoke to the owner today over the phone, he's away on business somewhere foreign, but is happy to sell it on to me.

As soon as he is back i'll wager a deal for it's removal.
