Its getting it INTO the chassis that counts. For this you need a gun. Use Dinitrol if funds permit - far superior. Google it and get the right stuff as they make about 8 different types. One is very watery and is an internal protector (1 can will do a Landy chassis) and then there is heavy duty coatings for the externals.
It took me more than one can of Dinitrol to do the Landy chassis properly. i used 6 cans of Dinitrol ML for doing the inside of the chassis and bulkhead. It came with a 60cm extension hose that attatched to the aerosol. It sprayed a 360 degree fan. Good stuff. My mate used it on his LAndy 5 years ago and it still looks good as new underneath

Did you read my post? As I said, there are different typres and advised the OP to get the internal stuff and extranal stuff. I used (i think) ML3125, which sprays on like cats ****, I blasted it into the whole chassis, the it was misting out of every hole, and running out of the drain holes, I did both rails, rear crossmember and up the A pillars with one can. I then said "then there is heavy duty coatings for the externals".

It's just a type of air powered spray gun.
This might be useful if you are wax oiling and are lazy...

Yeah mate I did, no offence meant? i just said it took me more than one can. i used Dinitrol ML for the inner chassis which is the thinest they do. Just like water really. Then i used it on the outer chassis and over sprayed that with Dinitrol Underbody Wax (black) You can put it on wet on wet. john at Dinitrol told me to do it this way as the ML is very watery and gets in all the nook and crannys etc. Then overspraying with the black underbody wax protects and seals it all.
