Every time I get decent tools some bugger breaks in and nicks them, now I buy cheap crap. Nobody's broke in since I started doing that

Mobile tool chests and lots of them. My compulsive disorder ensures nothing is ever out of place.

Hi guys

150 PC draper expert socket set from tool rep when I left school with my first weeks wages,

Still got it 11 years later with everything counted for and fixed more than enough LRO's , Motorbikes and freight locos in its time haha

Best 100-odd quid I've spent on tools :)

+1 for Irwins, just got me out a sticky situation with my Passat's CV boot change. not had to use them on the landy yet:eek:

Halfords Pro socket & spanner set. Had it over 10 years now and its ace. Rachet was replaced quibble free when I sheared the teeth being an arse. Was so good I bought another set a few years later.

Second place would go to my impact wrench - a Sealey CP2450. Weighs a ton but kicks out 550Nm/410lb.ft
