I'm sure the chancellor will sure raise Tax on electricity and VED will catch up
Of course, that's inevitable, but by then ICE vehicles will even more heavily taxed than they are now, still making electric the cheaper option.
At this point in time, I definitely wouldn't be using my retirement fund to buy a £30k 90, regardless of how clean it appeared.
I'd put the money towards something that I could afford to use for the next decade at least.
Unfortunately ICE vehicles will plummet in value within the next decade, so like it or not, EVs are pretty much the affordable form of transport for the future.
