Don't be fooled by the looks of the kit they have. It means nothing other than they like bling and or can't drive too well and have to buy bling to make up for their short commings. Will explain another day. I should have my 90 back running and will need to give it a run out in the next week or so. If I know when I'm going out your welcome to join i'll only be doing local lanes for a jolly.

Well I'm Close to the hospital/Dunstable wood side etc so these offroaders locals?? Are they the rangie boys Luke Z Jamie W? Jamie orange disco bob cos he can actually drive we hve trialed against each other a couple of times not since my bro did his pickup/bob tho.

Check out Herts laners thread aswell we have a pub meet in the white lion aka chalkhill every first weds of the month everyone welcome J

Would there be room for another newbie to tag along? I would like to get to know some of the local lanes and local Landy owners, I'm from Dunstable so I think I'm fairly close to Jai.

No problem the local lanes are semi tame so nothing to worry about more than welcome same goes for the pub meet ect

If we do anything more further afield another day best to have front and rear recovery points. jate rings front and a tow ball rear are fine

I've got a NATO towbar and a couple of recover rings on the front ( had to fit a NATO towbar because I just got a nice Sankey that I'm in the middle of rewiring)

Can't beat a NATO hitch I have the same. Sankeys you can run new 7 core to the front distribution box (wide track) and use bullet connections into the original wiring box I did that few years ago means you can always reinstate the mil plug should you ever wish to sell it to a purist.

Might be different on narrow Stanley's tho

That's exactly how I'm doing it, but only got a number plate light working before I had to leave it to go training, also had to look up jate rings (dumb but learning)

Not dumb at all if you don't know you don't know. Give me a day or so to test this diff make
Sure I can get on wih it and I'll sort out a local outing J

Cheers Kev mucho appreciated however I'm driving into London for work which sucks no doubt ill end up ec somewhere horrible!!

Must pickup a hub seal today

I'll be back in action for the end of April, got to spend 3 weeks in Thailand sunning myself first, spend a weekend fixing mine, MOT and good to go out and break it again. I know all of the lanes, have maps and all of the gear (no idea of course)

I live near berko, and know the lanes you are talking about, so could take you round if you want. My 109 is in the garage having suffered a minor diff explosion, but should be sorted soon and I might have some time over Easter.
