First things first, Do you have a multimeter?
If so set it to amps, disconnect your positive battery lead (make sure you have a note of radio codes etc) and put the multimeter between the battery and positive lead, when the rangey is not running you should get no more than 1 amp drawing through the meter after alarm systems, ecu's etc have gone to sleep. If you dont have this issue your battery is goosed and should be replaced as its not holding charge.
If you have more than 1 amp draw then work methodically through the fuse box disconnecting 1 system at a time although i would not defuse anything to do with the Engine Ecu until you get a 1 amp or less draw. Time consuming I know butits a good start

firstly dont panic ( yet) its a common problem with the L322. but you need to find which one it is,

rf reciever
bcem not going to sleep,
do a search on rangerover.net

Before you do this make sure you remove the fuses for the entertainment system, think it's fuse 8 and 49. If you don't you will blow your multimeter. And damage the entertainment system. The car takes at least 16 minutes to completely shutdown, you know when its shutdown when the red light on the transmission selector goes out, the car should not draw anymore than 20-30mA (0.020amps) you can do it without removing the positive lead as it has an explosive charge on the wire, you can do it by removing the negative lead from which is bolted to the bulkhead next to the battery, connect one of the multimeter clips to the negative battery lead and the other clip to the bolt post where you have just removed the battery lead from, make sure you have your multimeter on the 10A mode and you have the positive lead in the 10A socket on the multimeter. What model year L322 do you have?

Won't be an rf problem, the LM model does not suffer from this problem, the hevac issue is the resistor not the ecu and the bcem is now called the BCU (body control unit) and there are not known for causing any problems.
When you get in the car can you hear a loud motor running and air coming out of the vents even though you haven't started the car? If so you may need to change the hevac resistor, not expensive about £40 from ebay. Don't worry about this headlights if you haven't had the 06 ones fitted. A common issue is the headlight wipers, do they work when you switch them on? Also the bottom of the A pillars are common for getting damp, the headlight levelling ecu lives in the passenger side A post and the LCM (light control module) lives in the drivers side A post, check for water ingress/damp areas, the connections on the entertainment wiring loom in the rear load space are known for corroding and causing problems also.
