when i start my freelander it is awful, when ya turn the key it takes a few turns to fire and when it does fire its very rough an smokes like hell out exhaust, if u plant the throttle and get the revs up to 1500 rpm then flik key of and on fast it clears straight away and runs sweet, any 1 got any ideas as to wot it could be? is a 99 2td. ive managed to get a code from the reader but unsure as to wot it means, 144 injection begin control, is wot it says

thanks but its not a p0 code ive looked into that
