LOL :D :D :D Grrreat! wonder how long it'll take before the bang the price up on it?, prob straight away when they see me with a trolley full! :D
Wonder if it will give my green disco green smoke?

Dunno but if yer puts grape juice in yer engine yer might develop a nasty whine!!!:D:D

Tesco's now doing soya oil for 80p per litre, anyone got any experience of running on this/is it possible, sure i read somewhere it was unadvised.
It,s also got vitamin E added to it so surely it would make my disco healthy!
:D :D :D

In february copy of Land rover international mag there is an article about making bio-diesel .It says soya oil makes good fuel, also sunflower, olive oil and rape. Not good is palm oil and ground nut oil.Not sure about vitamin E but most on here seem to say stay away from additives and only use pure oil.Hope this helps.

I've run mine on soya oil and all sorts of other stuff, bear in mind that I heat the oil before it goes through the fuel system. It starts on diesel and runs on diesel until the engine cooling system and heat exchanger (run on hot water from the cooling system) are up to temperature then it switches to my veg tank and fires very hot fuel through the system. While the engine is running on diesel its returning the diesel back to the veg tank (so theres always a mixture of veg and diesel in the veg tank). My land Rover is old and didn't cost a lot so I'm not too bothered about breaking it. Its run fine on soya, rape seed, sunflower and used oil. If yours is new and its your pride and joy then I'm not saying you should do it, only that mine does work, it was pretty knackered when I got it but with all the work I've done on it its running really well now despite all the different oil I use as fuel...

Tescos have done it again this time putting the price up on Grapeseed oil from 97p - £1.38 and soya oil from 80p - £1.19.
Its becoming a struggle to find cheap SVO, how difficult is it to filter out WVO without any special equipment?

dunno about the filtering but asda, sainsburys and somerfield have all started jackin their prices right up, must be a worldwide shortage coz it's rising past the price of diesel now:rolleyes:
