The aerocatches did you remove the landrover bonnet catches or do you still have both catches in place?.

I binned the original catches and cable ages ago. My bonnet fluttered like mad before I did the Aerocatches and I could never get my hand in to pull the original cable!!

Little mock up with some scrap bits.

I kept mine a little narrower to stiffen it a bit:

Oh, Matron!

Where did you get the top clip from?

I got them locally in France, so not much good to you  but these latches are pretty common. I started out with those over centre hasps but they were too flimsy and hard to mount on chequer plate and the robust ones are just too big so I went back to basics.

One did have an idea along the lines of getting two rear door chequerplates and having the whole thing hinge down :)

Never really got far when I posted this as a different thread........

Tried to source a front OS knock and found a loud metallic clack/knock coming from the transfer box - both front wheels in the air and moving one wheel back and front. Aaaaaargh!!

Ignore the video (just listen to the sound) as I was holding the phone with one had whilst rocking the OSF wheel with my NS leg.

Well it's not easy to tell from a video of a noise...

Has it ended up in diff lock by accident?

Does the diff lock still work, ie you can lock and unlock it?

Does the centre diff operate smoothly?

Nope - no lights or wheel scrubbing.

It did last time but I'll check again.

As above.

:mad::mad::mad:

Are Polybush still in business? Can't get any answer to email queries to them.

Seems that asking the same question publicly on their Facebook page has provoked a response!

Only took seven days and four attempts to get a reply! It's a bloody good job their bushes are the best otherwise my money would be going elsewhere.

Swapped one of my thermometers for a green LED version. It also does battery voltage and clock. I'm happy with it so I've ordered another to replace the interior thermometer too.
