The 3 amigo's as they're better known can light up if he brake pedal switch has failed. There's plenty of threads on ere about the 3 amigo's.
How did you know which abs sensor had failed? A more precise check would be to get the errors codes read.

If you think it's an abs sensor, you can test em yoursen with a multimeter. Disconnect the yellow/orange connectors under the bonnet and look fir an open resistance (should be about 13k ohms IIRC).
Once you've changed the faulty sensor the lights will reset themselves.
