ok guys either meet up on mon30th to go through route or tue 31st early morning and head off, back on sun 5th for those who got work monday hows that do...???

anyone know for a camp site up north, somewhere say Llangollen or somewhere near that area where we could use to meet for the monday night as an idea...???

There is a campsite in Glyn Ceriog(Nr Chirk) that I have used on several occasions (not far from the Wayfares), I shall dig out the tel no in the morning. Not going to Easton.

Ok lads looking to start near Llangollen on the tuesday morning and work our way down in stages for each day taking in the clasics and a few not so familiar ones that take a bit of work and effort, my dining table is lost at the moment under a rather large pile of o s maps and cannot see the floor for pencil shavings, if any of you have any particular points or lanes to visit nows the time to throw it in...

hi starting with campsites been from up here know a fair few depends what you want, quick stay overnight with basic features or the more tourist type ones (usually more expensive).

I tend to go for the cheapest prices from £2.50 per head up to about a £5 per night, in the middle of the tourist season might find a few only take full week booking but those tend to be expensive anyhow.

Also tend to avoid the tourist or popular spots near the coast, lakes and national parks

as for lanes heres a list and approx times i know it takes to do most of them and surronding lanes, wayfarers all 12 hours, snowdonia 6, denbigh moors 6, tarant valley near bala never got round too them, rhadyer ellan valley and stratia 8, sara helen & back 8, nantymoch whats left 3, happy valley 4.

times include road use from lane to lane but assume in the area already and a slow pace and plenty of stops missed out many which are lsolated but on the route. remember i include the small lanes within a area not just the larger ones.

I'am sure they're plenty more i missed coming from the north its obvevious i will know the northern ones better, might be wrong the timing but the wayfarers themselfs takes us 6 hours and often miss many out

its not a defentiate list just an idea

Hiya Lads, sorry been away at the LRW show, so only just getting on top of the messages, thanks for the list welshlaner, got most of them already, any i am not sure on will give you a shout, would you know if the one over the back of Barmouth is a go, as i didnt make this one last year and it seems to have a bit of length on the map, as for camping will sort us a nice cheap site for the nite somewhere...
