How to change the bulb in the clock on my 2001 P38?

Ive tried to see how the clock comes out but it looks like it doesnt!

Thanks

Bit of a nightmare! You need to take out the whole instrument panel. Just to put one bulb in!
You need to take the 2 side panels off first, then if you've got the standard LR radio, remove the little panels in the recess around it. You will have 2 screws either side of the radio, 2 more further up from where you have just removed the side panels and 1 more screw from further up on the left hand side near the top of the panelling. You should be able to release the whole panel with the clock, switches and radio away from the fascia. Hey presto you're in behind the clock!

Wow!

Thanks i'll give it a go!

A bit extreme perhaps just to change the bulb, but im a bit fussy about little niggling things like that!!!

This may be a long shot, but my DSE clock did'nt work, along with the window switch panel lights, one night whilst out, I was aware of something 'flashing', looked down & the window lights came on, I never even realised they lit, since i'd never seen them before!!
So I gave the slanting panel a 'whack' with the palm of my hand, & everything lit up, GREAT! so then I gave the clock a good 'whack' as well, & that lit up as well!! I never knew that had a light either!!
They've been ok ever since.
