Good to hear youve got them. What is destinator? is it a different make of satnav? If so it will probly require a conversion of the files to an acceptable format.

Cheers mate. The POIedit link you send may be a life saver.

I had problems inputing some .csv file to the POI previously, namely lpg stations, and had to resort to saving them under favourites. Will try and see how they work now with the POIedit link.

BTW, I'm using Packard Bell 400 with Destinator ND. Not the best in the world as it doesn't quite support post code search.

ok HuN73R, I've tried loading the files you sent to my destinator. But I can only load them to favourites rather than POI. This is due to destinator's software not able to support POI inport.

hi....i am using packard bell gps 400...loaded with destinator ND....

Many people had tried loading extra POI but failed....through various forums discussion, many people (incl me) believed its down to the program parameters where it doesn't support both POI upload as well as post code search.

If you have anything that works, I'd love to gove it some tries...:)

cheers paul got your email downloaded the files onto my tomtom one 3rd edition works really well and has the local pois that i know of.Once again thanks only problem is if cat 5 is the lowest god help us when i hit a 1 the local ford i would say was a 3 at least and can be deeper after alot of rain and really slippy banks after getting my merc delivery van through it lol.

No problem Ade! Glad its worked for you. FYI the #5 fords are the deepest/hardest to pass, and the #1's are the easyest. Dont wat you traveling for 50 miles to find a #1!!

Got the range wrong thought 5 was the lowest well must have done real good got a tesco dot com van through that ford and tom tom give it a 5 should get the disco through without a prob lol

kool

i think it also goes by how prone it is to flooding. I have a local ford in coughton and it is only 6" deep and the tomtom says its a 4. But when it rains hard it can get upto 4' deep. Also have one local that is a 5 in aston cantlow and you wouldnt get a tesco van through it ever. Let alone when its flooded!

Anyway if you fancy a laugh check out the following video on you tube! Its of me trying to get into the river from the island in the middle of aston cantlow ford! I was advised not to do it but..... well you know!
