My disco 1 is not lifted 4 inch was considering trying to keep front ARB. I just wondered if anyone had fitted spacers to the front ARB to allow it to stay fitted.

Regards

Why lift it and keep ARB? If it's to pass MOT, keep the arb and put them on the day of the mot, take 'em off directly after. 'swhat I did with my Disco.

The two don't work together, height is sh!t on road, ARB is sh!t offroad, the two cancel each other out and give you the worst of both .. IMHO

Fair enough. It was to try come to a compromise to keep it a bit better for road use

I do recall seeing a LR with ARB spacers yes. Cant think where though. You could make something pretty easy i reckon but it would have to have zero deflection.

But like Paul said, seems a waste of time to me.

my old man bent his on his 90 while off road about 4 years ago, took them off anf been like that since, my 110 doesnt have any either and its handles well

If it was me Id go for keeping the bolts well lubed up so it can be removed when you need to
Then its up to you if you think its a pain in the arse to remove or not
