If you do have a southern meeting make sure you have internet service, so if any of you break down you can contact us up here for how to get it going. :D:D:D

I'll pack a pigeon, just in case.

My suggestion is to meet at Gaydon Heritage centre sometime in the morning, visit the centre and then drive the 12 miles or so to Wagtail off road centre which has some easy and tricky parts to it, so anyone like me who doesn't want to scratch the hell out of their paintwork can muck about in the mud, whilst any of the others can go for it the pit and woods.

But I am also up for a more northern or maybe Wales green laning meet if someone knows some paintwork friendly lanes

That sounds a great idea. Looks good! Think packing the Heritage Centre and the off-roading in 1 day might be a bit much! The Heritage Centre does a Landy experience. Maybe we could use their facilities? Says they hire out to groups for £600 per day: Heritage Motor Centre Motor Museum, Gaydon

We've a got a few options suggested now. Can we setup a new thread with one of those survey thingies to see what people prefer? Lo0ve the idea of a trip to the South coast (albeit a bit closer to France than I like!) but maybe somewhere a bit more central would attract more people?

Not been in over 20 years. Vaguely remember a funfair and jellied eels. Bit out of the way for most folk, I think.

well there is no fun fair any more the penny arcade is gone they tided up the place a bit but not much usually drive straight threw it on the way to my secret beach location

Just had a quick look on the map but in between all the suvvern places you're on about has 'there be dragons here' all over it...... Well at least on my map it does. Took 10 minutes to unroll the thing....

I think it is referring to the women. It isn't out of date from that perspective.

Thing about that is, if I dont pay him, he will never wash my car again for £3 (that includes the inside as well)

Were you thinking sometime around Easter? That's not too far off now, is it? A sort of warm-up act to LZ meet?

I dont mind what day it is... as long as its on a weekend, say a Saturday would be good then we can stay late, lot of ppl have work Monday so they cant stay late on a Sunday, I proposed the stag (first page I think) I am ok with that, I didn't choose it because its right on my doorstep because its not.. I was thinking at least ppl could make it from near the M3 M4, around the M25, about 20 made it last time, so its a good spot for a lot of ppl

OK. None of us has any idea how to setup a poll on here. Votes on the following venues, maybe a first and second choice.

High Wycombe (The Stag)
Twickenham
Ewood Park
Solihull
Bletchley Park
Gaydon (wagatil 4x4 or the Heritage Museum)
Brighton
Margate

Gaydon sounds good me although High Wycombe gets 2nd vote as it is way closer!
