I've had success with one of these with a stuck tractor

anchor it to one or 2 of those trees with some chain ;)

it'll work a sweat up ;)
Yep got one of those, I think the worst problem is that I am always on my own. No help. I was probably about 3 feet from safety going backwards but had no reverse power, got it moving by using a stick to push the accelarator whilst i winched. then got so far and ran out of trees....so I bombed it forward and well its been there ever since

Actually I could help you out . 120 mile round trip for me . When are you wanting to get it out ?

What have you tried to recover it so far?

How far is it to decent ground to winch from?

We do have volunteers in the area that may be willing to help but we don't wish to send them off without fully understanding the situation and another vehicle being stuck or worse.

The better you explain the conditions the more we can do to help.

It is a winch job. Lots of trees to tie another land rover too and winch out. Needs a winch. The ground is boggy, I have a polaris ranger that got stuck there. Had to hand winch it out.

May I draw your attention to the stickies on the LZIR page please chaps, just so all parties are aware of limits, liabilities and responsibilities.
