Hi.
Anybody tried the Showroom Shine. Waterless cleaning & waxing liquid ?
Is it as good as they say ?

i have no idea , but - waterless cleaning sounds iffy ? as water gets all dust etc off- of you start trying to clean a car without that surely you could potentialy scratch the paint work if any grit etc is on the car ? but £20/30 for a litre of it, youd do half of that cleaning a whole car once, and it doesnt take long for it to get dirty again anyway, so whats the point ?

what i use on my bmw - once all properly detailed and waxed with a a few layers, is "demon shine" -amazing stuff, give the car a quick hose off then a go over with a sponge and shampoo , then watering can with the hose in it all off

then demon shine and a microfibre cloth whist wet, comes up a superb shine and no streaks/water marks etc , look out for it in asda on offer in 2L bottles for like £2 !! its expensive in halfrauds

Im a profesinal car cleaner and been in this trade for 9 years and personally i would not clean any car without watering and washing off the dust first (hosepipe or pressure washer), i am aware of this product and have been offered it on a trial but i refused.this is personall preference without prejadice

No,
I don't sell it , I have been watching too much Ideal World shopping Chanel.... They have loads of testimonials in the demo, one from Listers, the Merc Dealers, so something must work.? ... If you Google the header, they have their own website.

That's why I won't ever let the little dudes in the supermarket car parks wash our cars - they might as well use sandpaper as they don't have anywhere near enough water to rinse it properly first. Mind you, they never seem to harass me in the RR - too much mud for them, I guess.

I'm going to have to say I have used it... my dad thought it was amazing when he seen it and just decided to get some... I was wary of it I have to say.

Tried it on my Black Corsa D and it didn't leave any scratches. I was very careful though. I still don't like using it. I have used it since but only after I've washed and rinsed the car as it does leave a very nice shine, I'm not convinced it has good protection though, its just too watery and fine.

I've used it on cars and my caravan with excellent results. My brother had some and told me to have a go-like most people I was a little sceptical-but have to say I've now been using it for quite a few years.
It's also the best thing the wife has used for cleaning the windows.

I took the plunge and got some.
I washed the car first tho as there was no base protection... Went on well, nice and shiney
Will post results as the layers of protection build up ;)

Rinse with water first, wash, clay, wash again, 4-5 coats of collinite, job done. I only wash the car once or twice a year. Wheels get done slightly more often. Job done.

I'm a wash, rinse and good polish fan myself, but my wife asked me to get her some grease lighting for ease of use.
Got a black focus and was very skeptical about her using it without a wash and rinse,
But on seeing the finished result i was very impressed, no scratches or marks.

but i'm still a wash with water fan, with a good polish

I use it all the time on every thing from windows to arcrilic bath. cleans and shines cars as well and my caravan ,but wash off heavy mud deposits, great on holliday when lightly dusty and need a shine .Amazing on tar and bird crap ,let it soak 10 seconds or so wipe wi one rag buff wi another.(And i doint work for them)
