I was just wondering if any 1 has had any probs running a P38 on bio-diesel (m51).
I put £45 worth of 50/50 mix (£1.06p ltr from supplier) and it seems ok now ive done 50 or so miles, (the tank was empty befor fill up, seriously) so now its running on the fuel, it starts and drives just as good it seems a little slower, only a tad even tho im running a power box, nothin that slows it down, i can just tell its lost a teeny weeny tad bit of power... i cant remember if these pumps (fip) can cope with it, i no vw pumps and injectors cant but bmw????:confused:

If it's the BMW engine... it'll be a bosh lift pump... it'll be fine.

Thanks for the info mate, i run an old bmc engine i built as a generator on used engine oil and nothin else lol, but i reckon thats just pushin my luck if i poured it in the rangie,:)

Biggest problem i have found when using bio in a Rangie is i cant enough used oil to keep up with the drinking habits of the car!!
Apart from that runs lovely on it.
Get yourself a spare fuel filter......bio will clean every bit of crap from the tank and fuel lines and dump it in your filter leaving you with fuel starvation.
