Can't afford Ronseal, would cost about 150 quid to do it.

coo var do a good range teamac indust floor paint internal/external how long floor been down is it power floated ?

I'll have a look at that, floors been down over 5 years and just concrete.

have a word with my daughter at West Lancs Paint as they do floor paint very cheep, deliver also

thats great reason i asked power float it will just flake off and new its a month per inch before you can paint when you do it and park on the floor try and put something down under tires of vehicles as tires on a painted floor sometimes cause paint to lift.

Water down some PVA and give it a coat with that first, gives the paint better adhesive ability.

Your just makin work you are:)

Tip it on the floor and spread it out with a sweeping brush, leave it a couple of days and then move back in:D

Tell me about it... I did try telling my gaffer that it was a stupid idea to paint a powerfloated pigment tinted concrete floor at work. After a 3/4 hour argument advising him that no matter what you did to the concrete first (short of scabbling) it wouldn't take and would look far worse in 3 months, I thought ****it and just painted the damn floor...

Guess what it looks like now!

I shouldn't really have been surprised though, this is the same man who trys to tell me that you mustn't touch a metal halide lamp with bare skin as it will damage it (no - thats the quartz envelope of a halogen lamp you knob!) and can't tell the difference between a closed or open/vented water system (made me to put a level indicator on a pressurised tank, much to my protestations, then blamed me for incorrect fitting when it burst when the water supply was connected!).

Sounds like you work with a proper twonk!

100% tosser tbh, although at the minute he's 'taking some short term leave'... well thats what we've been told, although rumour is that someone saw him being escorted off the premises by the MD and ops manager!
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess that might be true given the large job that was planned two days after he spontaneously disappeared... I've had to step into running the maintenance dept since then!

Ive used Coovar in sheds and inside the house and its lasted well.It was cheap compared to the competition. We sealed the floor with cheap sealant and left it a week before paintig 2 coats. Then we left it afew weeks before driving onit. Its just wearing thru after 5 yrs.:)

how big is the garage?

I did my garage and its about 18ftx18ft and a 5L tin was enough...
