Hi, I'm ray from Huddersfield, west Yorkshire. I've been having a snoop around for a week or so and thought I'd better sign up. I've got a 2004 110 csw at the moment but I've been through a freelander1 and a disco before so I've seen most of the fun (read headache) of owning this fine marque. I have to admit early water cooled vw's are my first passion but I'm finding myself spending more time with the landy now. So that's me, sorry for the essay and hopefully I'll meet some of you guys soon to pop my greenlane cherry haha

Welcome. Goodness me, you must be having some unseasonably cold weather up in Huddersfield.
 
Haha, what do you you mean that's summer up north! It was the only picture on my phone and I like how it looks in the snow :)
 
welcome to the loony zone....

have a look at north yorks lanes thread in green laning section if ya wanna try a bit of laning... we meet up once a month at the pub at chain bar junction on m62 and try to get out at least once a month...

My experience is that you're all jolly tight with money, work down t'pit from a young age, wear flat caps and enjoy brass bands and talking about stuff that happened "when I were a lad", and trying to one up each other over how hard your upbringing was. Keep whippets and say aye oop a lot.

Did I miss anything ?

it were tough cleaning that Lake afore i went to work int pit four hours afore i got up, i'll tell thi ;)


and now sumbody will say "oohhhh we used to dream o livin in a Lake" :D
 
We used to dream o livin in't lake wi all them free fish. We lived under a pebble in't middle o't road and we were greatfull
