When I put a 200tdi in my old 90 I didn't bother with the glow plugs, never needed them even on cold frosty mornings, always started first try and only a little black smoke on start up.
Fired up soon as you touched the key in summer.

So even when mild today think it was about 6° when I tried she still smoked white smoke and was grumpy until I blasted it out. So I'm rather not doing the spring key turn right or it's not wired.

This saying they had decent starts with no plugs in cold weather. What do you think is causing the rough start then? Obv if the plugs where working I could rule that out but hypothetical there working whats the issue?
