Can find anything saying yes or no. What are the rules with running amber warning beacons in the uk in the same way tractors etc do to show there is a slow moving vehicle. Can i just run them at all times?
You occasionally see ex-police classic cars driving around. Technically you are supposed to cover the police markings/blue lights, but when it's obviously not a current police vehicle, sometimes people don't bother and the real police turn a blind eye as long as you aren't doing anything stupid. There was an old Crown Victoria based in Surrey in full NYPD livery, but again it's obviously a foreign vehicle and not the real police!2 places I used amber lights, but one was a flash on off (Airport no rotating beams) and roadworks rotating beams, and on both, once of the public highway you have to turn them off, I worked on film also on props and SFX and drove "Police cars" and you have to cover the blue lights and cover the police markings
You mean like the CV i saw on the M6 years ago fully lit up and the sirens wailing.. was epicYou occasionally see ex-police classic cars driving around.
